Delete Your TRUEHOUR Account

Delete your account in the TRUEHOUR app

Open TRUEHOUR and go to:

Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account

Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have access to the TRUEHOUR app, you can request account deletion by emailing:

support@truehourapp.com

Use the email address associated with your TRUEHOUR account so we can verify and process your request. Suggested subject: TRUEHOUR Account Deletion Request

What is deleted

When account deletion is requested, TRUEHOUR deletes, de-identifies, or places into its deletion process the data associated with your account, including:

• your TRUEHOUR profile and account credentials;
• machines and equipment records;
• estimates, jobs, actuals, line items, expenses, and machine events;
• saved estimate and quote files;
• photos and other uploaded files;
• unfinished estimate drafts;
• analytics events associated with your account;
• review and rating-prompt history;
• unsubscribe-link records;
• identifying information in TRUEHOUR email-delivery records;
• feedback message content and follow-up contact information;
• support correspondence through our internal removal process; and
• the customer record TRUEHOUR maintains with its subscription service provider.

Limited information that may remain

TRUEHOUR retains only limited information after account deletion in the circumstances described below:

• If you asked not to receive email from us, we keep a non-reversible one-way fingerprint of the address solely so we can continue to honor that request. The email address itself is not kept for this purpose.
• We may retain limited non-identifying transaction records for up to seven years from the transaction date as part of TRUEHOUR's accounting, tax, audit, fraud, chargeback, and legal-compliance recordkeeping practices.
• In limited cases, we may temporarily retain specific records when reasonably necessary for an active legal matter, fraud investigation, security issue, or payment dispute. We retain only what is necessary and remove or de-identify it when that need ends.
• Benchmark information previously contributed with consent may remain pseudonymously under a one-way contributor fingerprint and is used to create anonymous aggregated benchmarks.
• Limited structured product-learning information may remain only after it is no longer associated with the account or reasonably linkable to the former user.

Apple and Google subscriptions

Deleting your TRUEHOUR account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

To avoid continued billing, cancel your subscription through the store where you purchased it before deleting your TRUEHOUR account.
